Talk about future proofing a device, Samsung has just sent the SGH-i547 Android phone over to the FCC for approval and it can be used on pretty much any carrier around the world. It features quad-band LTE radios and should be able to piggyback on 4G LTE networks outside of AT&T’s own. It’s said to be an entry-level device but it packs NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and wireless N Wi-Fi. No word on the rest of the specs, the device could be officially announced in the coming weeks.
