This little Android clamshell called the Sharp IS01, we first seen this device back in the spring. It was released in Japan a few months ago and now it’s making a world tour. You can now purchase this MID for $249 and have it shipped to almost anywhere in the world. It features a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU and has a 5-inch 960 x 480 capacitive touchscreen, rear and front-facing cameras, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, full QWERTY keyboard, trackball, 3.4GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot. It will ship with Android 1.6, I wouldn’t count on this device receiving and upgrade anytime soon but anything can happen. It is a great little device to have, the keyboard looks awesome.
