The Huffington Post reports today that the iPhones most advertised feature almost was born on Android well before its deal with Apple. Siri was being tested as a feature for Verizon’s DROID line of devices. The company tested the app extensively and even shot a few commercials highlighting the feature. We all know now that Apple bought the company behind Siri and it became an exclusive feature for iOS devices starting with the 4S. I don’t think man of us even want the feature now that Google has launched Google Now for Jelly Bean. Things could’ve been much different if Verizon had their way.
