We got our hands on and first look at Sony new Google TV box at the Sony party last night after Google I/O. the device looks awesome and it has a new remote that scales down the size of the keyboard for a GTV device drastically. The device will be available in the US new month and Sony also has plans to ship it to our friends in Canada as well.
In August if you live in Canada you will be able to purchase the NSZ-GS7 Google TV set-top-box. The pricing will be the same as the US version which is $199 and you can place your preorders for the device on Sony’s website. The device itself it’s a tad bit smaller than the Logitech Revue and it offers next-gen power.
The device has all the ports you would need out of a home entertainment unit. There’s an HDMI, it has 3D capabilities and of course it’s Wi-Fi. Click here to find out more about this device and Sony will be releasing a Blu-ray player in Canada as well with Google TV.
