It looks like its update day. Sony has approved the Jelly Bean update for the Xperia T and V. Android 4.1 could be rolling out to the devices as early as today. If you own one of these handsets you can check now to see if the update is available to you. Android 4.1 for these and upcoming Xperia devices includes an update to the Album, Walkman, Camera and Movie apps. You will also gain the ability to search your app collection through the newly search bar. Updates to the UI and more are included with the launch of Android 4.1. The rest of qualifying Xperia devices will receive their own update to Jelly Bean in the coming months. The Xperia TX will be updated in March.
