I’m sure you heard Google boast about Android’s daily activations. The latest announcement from Google was there are now more than 1.3 million Android devices activated every day. A new study by IHS suggests that Android could ship 451 million devices next year. If that happens, there will be more than 1 billion Android devices shipped since the OS launched. In contrast, the iPhone is said to clear the 1 billion mark by 2015 if it does at all.
