The picture you see above is reportedly a prototype for the new Nexus phone from Google. According to the source of this leak, Google is trying to decide between HTC and LG to manufacturer the next Nexus handset and this is one of the test devices. It’s said that this device runs Ice Cream Sandwich and this looks like an HTC design. Keeping with Nexus tradition, T-Mobile will get this device first then Sprint and possibly a few other carriers. It’s too early in the game to speculate on a release date, December has been thrown around a few times. What do you think about this device? It looks pretty good for an early prototype.

That style doesn’t scream HTC to me… in fact it cries more LG…
Note the arc of the corners (more G2x -y than Thunderbolt-y), and the kind of iPhone 3GS styling- HTC has put out enough distinct devices to not have to copy style like that…

It kind of looks like a variation of this http://androidmixer.com/button-less-verizon-phone-leaks-from-htc/

The lack of physical or capacitive buttons disturbs me, maybe they are on the top.
