Verizon Tweeted earlier today that their version of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 will be released in May. They didn’t give a solid date so the rumored launch date of May 30th is still in play. We’re not sure what is the cause of the late launch but the device has already been confirmed not to feature that hideous Verizon logo in the home button like the Galaxy Note 2. Odds are the company needs the extra time to get Samsung to lock the boot loader like they did with the Galaxy S 3. If that does happen, at least we have a developer edition to look forward to with the boot loader unlocked. Or you can get the device much earlier from Sprint or T-Mobile who will have the device on shelves by the end of this moth and AT&T will squeak theirs out on the last day of the month.
